Hon. Kallamu Responds to Maishanono Community’s Water Crisis with Well Construction Initiative

The Member representing Mayo Belwa Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Mahmud Kallamu, has awarded a contract for the construction of a well in the Maishanono Community of Ndikong Ward.

This intervention comes in response to the challenges faced by the community, as reported last week by the online platform AGTV.

The lawmaker’s swift action aims to address the hardship caused by the lack of access to clean water.

A delegation led by the Ndikong Sole Administrator, Musa Yuguda, visited the community on behalf of Hon. Kallamu.

During the visit, the lawmaker emphasized the urgency of the project, expressing his commitment to alleviating the community’s suffering.

He noted that the visit was intended to gain firsthand knowledge of their challenges and to begin immediate construction of the well.

James Ibrahim, the Special Assistant to the Member on Political Affairs, highlighted Hon. Kallamu’s shock and concern upon learning about the situation, which prompted the quick intervention.

In their response, leaders of the Maishanono Community expressed gratitude for the lawmaker’s timely gesture.

They praised Hon. Kallamu for his dedication to the welfare of his constituents and his proactive approach to addressing their needs.
