Salihijo Ahmed Memorial Science Academy has recorded a string of outstanding victories across multiple categories during this year’s Children’s Day celebration organized by Sebore International Farms, reaffirming its place as a beacon of excellence in academic and extracurricular engagements in Mayo-Belwa.

The Academy’s sterling performance was seen across its Nursery, Primary, and Secondary school sections in the highly competitive match pass segment during children’s day celebration in mayo Belwa.

The Nursery section clinched third place, the Primary section emerged second, while the Secondary school proudly took the first position, showcasing their discipline, coordination, and spirit of unity.

Special recognition goes to the academy’s Match Pass Coordinator, Mr. Jerry Samaila, whose tireless efforts ensured the students were well-prepared and organized.
The school management also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parents whose unwavering support played a critical role in the success of the students.

However, the spotlight of the celebration shone brightest on Aisha Yusuf Kubba, the academy’s shining star and debate representative, who emerged as the Best Student of the 2025 Children’s Day Event.

She outshone her peers in the debate competition, earning the top prize ahead of Government Girls Science Secondary School, Mayo-Belwa.
In recognition of her brilliance, leadership, and eloquence, Aisha was appointed as the One-Day Managing Director (General Manager) of Sebore International Farms.

As acting MD, she was given the rare privilege to address a gathering of company staff, students, and dignitaries.

She confidently delivered an official address, expressing appreciation to Sebore Farms for the honour and trust bestowed upon her.

During her symbolic tenure, Aisha demonstrated remarkable leadership by issuing instructions and orders, which were respectfully followed by all.
She was accorded the full honour of the position, including a ceremonial seating on the MD’s chair and a special handshake with the Lead Executive of the company.

The Children’s Day event, hosted by Sebore International, also featured debate and quiz competitions for primary and secondary schools across Mayo-Belwa.

It doubled as the unveiling of the company’s new 300ml yoghurt product, making the occasion both intellectually enriching and celebratory.
