In Adamawa State, four hospitals were powered with 50KW containerized mini-grids, ensuring uninterrupted electricity for testing, treatment, and essential medical services. This intervention not only addressed an urgent crisis but also strengthened the long-term resilience of healthcare delivery in the state.
Beyond the health sector, renewable energy solutions have been extended to communities through solar hybrid mini-grids, standalone solar home systems, solar-powered streetlights, and grid extension projects.
These initiatives, implemented across various Local Government Areas—including parts of Yola North, Yola South and Girei—are gradually transforming rural and semi-urban communities. Businesses are staying open longer, streets are safer at night, and students now have the opportunity to study under reliable lighting.
Equally impactful are interventions targeting agricultural clusters, irrigation systems, and vulnerable communities. By providing power to these critical sectors, the initiatives have contributed to improved food production, enhanced livelihoods, and broader economic recovery.
