The Chairman Adamawa Internal Revenue Services (AIRS), Alhaji HammanAdama Njabari has commiserated with the Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hadiza Ahmed Nyibango (Goggo Hajja).
In a condolence message made available to newsmen in Yola Saturday, the AIRS Boss described Hajiya Hadiza’s death as “a great loss not only to Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, but the State and Nigeria in general, given her invaluable contributions to the cause of humanity.”
He described the departed Hadiza Ahmed as “a quintessential mother and community leader who devoted her lifetime to the service of God and humanity.’’
Njabari paid glowing tributes to the deceased, saying she was a good mother, and urged the first family to take solace in the fact that the late matriarch lived to witness the enormous successes achieved by her only son culminating in the emergence of Abbas as the Speaker of 7th Assembly in 2019 and subsequently elected as the Senator of the Federal Republic in 2023.
“On behalf of the Management and the Entire Staff of AIRS I commiserate with Senator Aminu Iya Abbas on the painful loss of his beloved mother,” he said.
He called on the bereaved family to uphold the cherished ideals of community service, kindness and generosity associated with the matriarch and prayed Almighty Allah to repose her soul, and give the family, the people of Adamawa Central and the State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
