The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Bathiya Wesley on behalf of the entire members of the state Assembly felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
The Speaker in a press Statement signed by his Chief press Secretary Hyellamada Bernard said Christians should celebrate Christmas by reflecting on the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ.
He noted that the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes the love of God for Mankind to have salvation and have redemption from sin.
Bathiya maintained that Christian should use the Love of Christmas by tolerating each other showing love to their neighbours and assisting the less privileged.
He explain that the joy of Christmas should always reflect in the life of every Christian by preaching love peace and unity.
The Speaker advised that Christians should use the period to pray for peace and unity of the state and the the country considering the current economic challenges.
