Council Chairman Promises Action Against Hunger and Development Initiatives

The Chairman of Mayo Belwa local government council Umar Nashong Ngubi has outlined his administration’s commitment to tackling hunger among the populace through targeted programs.

He stated this at a reception organized in his honor as chairman mayo Belwa local government council held in local government secretariat in the areas.


Umar Nashong expressed his dedication to improving the welfare and fostering peaceful coexistence for enhanced development across Mayo Belwa.

Emphasizing collaboration with key stakeholders, Umar pledged to confront the security challenges plaguing certain areas of the community, aiming to pave the way for progress.

The Chairman welcomed constructive criticism and advice from the public, urging community members to contribute transformative ideas for the betterment of Mayo Belwa.

He also extended gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his support during the election and thanked the residents of Mayo Belwa for entrusting him with their mandate.


In a show of solidarity,the Member representing Mayo Belwa Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Musa Mahmud kallamu congratulated Umar Nashong on his successful inauguration.

Kallamu pledged full cooperation to facilitate joint efforts in driving developmental projects within the area.
