Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad, a House of Representatives aspirant for Yola North, Yola South and Girei Federal Constituency in the forthcoming elections, has congratulated Mustapha Atiku Ribadu on his election as the State Party Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to Newsmen in Yola, Salihijo described Ribadu’s emergence as a clear reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership.
“Your election reflects the trust and confidence party members have reposed in your leadership and commitment to strengthening our great party,” he stated.
Ahmad Salihijo noted that the new State Secretary assumes office at a critical time, stressing that his role would be central to guiding the party forward.
“At this critical time, your role is pivotal in providing direction, unity, and strategic guidance for the progress of the APC in Adamawa State,” he added.
He further emphasized the importance of strengthening internal party structures and promoting unity across all levels.
“You carry the responsibility of deepening party structures, fostering unity across all levels, and translating our ideals into meaningful impact for the people,” the statement read.
The aspirant expressed optimism about Ribadu’s capacity to reposition the party for greater effectiveness.
“Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping a more responsive and forward-looking party,” he said.
Ahmad Salihijo also reaffirmed his readiness to collaborate in advancing the party’s goals and delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
“I look forward to working closely with you to build a stronger platform that delivers real progress for our people in Yola North, Yola South, and Girei,” he stated.
He congratulated Ribadu once again and wished him a successful tenure.
