Former Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and Kainuwa Adamawa, Wakili Tsapta Fuuange, Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad, has paid a familiarisation visit to his political ward, Makama B Ward in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State, where he met with APC ward executives and key stakeholders.
Speaking during the visit, Engr. Salihijo expressed satisfaction with the massive e-registration of party members recorded in the ward, commending the dedication and commitment of APC members at the grassroots.
While appreciating the exectives for their efforts, Engr Salihijo pledged to support the e-registration team to further strengthen mobilisation and encourage more people to join the party.
From Makama B Ward, the Kainuwa Adamawa proceeded to the APC Secretariat in Yola South Local Government Area, where he interacted with party members and stakeholders of the local government.
At the secretariat, Engr. Salihijo reassured party leaders and stakeholders of his continued loyalty, support, and commitment to the growth, unity, and progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yola South and Adamawa State at large.
Speaking while receiving the delegation at the APC Yola South Secretariat, the Chairman of APC Yola South Local Government Area, Hon. Ahmadu Bingel, stated that the party’s door remains open to every card-carrying member interested in contesting for elective office, stressing that the APC is not for sale.
Hon. Bingel further lauded Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad for his respect for party structures and processes, assuring him of the party’s support at all times.
Various party stakeholders who spoke during the visit commended Engr. Salihijo for what they described as the massive transformation in electricity projects across Adamawa State during his tenure as Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency, noting that the impact of his leadership remains visible across several communities.
Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad was accompanied during the visit by APC critical stakeholders including Alhaji Muawiya Bello Tuta, Abdulmalik Bakari, Hon. Bello Zubairu, as well as other stakeholders from Makama B Ward.
Earlier, Engr. Salihijo was formally presented with his APC certified membership card at his Makama B Ward.
