“Ply roads with caution”Kallamu charges drivers

The Commissioner of Transportation Adamawa State, Musa Mahmud Kallamu has called on drivers to ply the roads with caution so as to avoid road crashes.
He made the called in an interview with newsmen in his office.


Musa kallamu noted that as ember Months have commenced, drivers should drive with utmost care to avoid road crashes and safeguard lives and property.


The commissioner called on vehicles inspection officers as well as the federal roads safety corps to be diligent in carrying out their duties.


Commenting on this year’s ember months which have commenced with the flag-off campaign by the federal roads safety corps of the state command, the commissioner described the event as timely and assured the relevant bodies of the transportation ministry of support at all time.


Musa kallamu who appreciated the effort `and support of the state governor which he gave to the ministry, said the governor has done so much in this regard.


Speaking in the same vein, the commercial director of Adamawa Sunshine Danlami Ahmed, called on the drivers to always observe the traffic rules and regulations.


Commenting on monitoring their drivers on long journey who were alleged to be in the habit of taking drugs and other dangerous substances, Danlami Ahmed said the company does not tolerate such anti social behaviors as measures are put in place to checkmate such acts.
