Following the Appointment of former member representing Shelleng constituency Hon. Abubakar Isa (Marafan Shelleng) By Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as Principal Special Assistant, Stakeholders and Political pressure groups have described the development as well deserved.
Some stakeholders who separately visit, text and called Hon. Abubakar Isa on Friday and Saturday respectively, said his appointment is timely considering his record of quality representation while serving as member representing the good people of Shelleng constituency in the 6th and 7th Assembly of Adamawa State respectively.
They explained that, Marafa as former lawmaker in the state he has all the required experience that will positively impact on the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to succeed in his task to take the state to enviable heights of development.
According to them the new PSA to the Governor has done a lot for his people through selfless service and both in his home town of Shelleng and Adamawa at large, saying the appointment is well deserved and has not come to him as a surprise.

Abubakar Isa in an telephone interview with our reporter also praised the appointment his Principal saying as former lawmaker with enormous experience in the parliament, the former member will surely fit into the Fintiri developmental agenda’s and add value to the system.
Reacting on the development, Hon. Abubakar Isa (Marafan Shelleng) the newly appointed Principal Special Assistant to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, said he is short of words to expressed his happiness to the Governor for the show of love he demonstrated him.

I am short of words to convey my heartfelt happiness to His Excellency for the show of love he demonstrated to me by this exalted appointment.” He said.
Marafan Shelleng who is the immediate past member representing Shelleng constituency from (2015-2019) and (2019-2023) On behalf of his family, political associates and supporters thanked the Governor and reaffirmed their unflinchingly Loyalty to his Government.
While pledging to justify the confidence reposed in him by the Governor, Hon. Abubakar Isa also prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to guide him, give him good health, wisdom and bless his progeny.
