The Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District,Distinguished Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his six Years in Office.
Sen Abbas, who doubles as chairman Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology in a congratulatory message through his Yola media office and made available to newsmen, Thursday on behalf of People of Adamawa Central, described Fintiri as architect of New Adamawa.
Abbas also saluted the security measures put in place by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, saying that it is another laudable effort to enhance security of lives and property of the people at all level as it is everybody’s business.
The senator of the 10th National Assembly added that, within the six years of Governor Fintiri he provide Infrastructural development throughout the state, citing clear example of ongoing construction of more flyovers on strategic locations, Building of Ultra modern Jimeta Shopping complex and International Conference and Events Centers in the state.
He commended the Governor for implementing the 70,000 naira national minimum wage to both State and local government staff improving the welfare of civil servants and retirees and setting machinery in motion for the much-desired people-oriented projects.
He revealed that, the patriotism showcased by the Fintiri’s led administration, is another sign for better days ahead and people of the state are hopeful to reap good governance.
Aminu Iya Abbas while praying God to protect and guide the Governor in the mission to improve the fortune of the people through the Prosperity policy thrust, he reiterated the commitment of critical stakeholders continued support to the Governor for unity, peace and development of the state.
