Bashir Jimeta Pledges to Mobilise Adamawa Transporters for Tinubu-Shettima

The Transporters for Tinubu/Shettima 2027 has unveiled a nationwide mobilisation strategy targeting more than 20 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 presidential election.

The group has inaugurated its National Working Committee and structures across the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory and the 774 local government areas.

Representing Vice President Shettima at the inauguration in Abuja, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, urged members to conduct their mobilisation peacefully and responsibly.

He warned against intimidation, misinformation, disorder and electoral misconduct, while encouraging transport operators to use their grassroots networks to promote responsible political participation.

In Adamawa State, the TOAN North-East Vice Chairman and Adamawa State Chairman, Comrade Muhammad Bashir Jimeta, pledged to mobilise transport operators across the state in support of President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Bashir said TOAN would leverage its strong grassroots network of transport operators to mobilise support while promoting peaceful and responsible political participation.

Beyond political mobilisation, Bashir is also supporting youth empowerment initiatives in Adamawa State.

According to him, TOAN is partnering with Sub City Global Consult to facilitate the securing of more than 120 new-model CNG Bajaj tricycles for Adamawa youths as part of an empowerment initiative aimed at creating economic opportunities and supporting young people’s livelihoods.
