ADAMAWA CENTRAL SENATOR AMINU IYA ABBAS, CONDOLE LATE BUHARI’S FAMILY IN DAURA

The Senator representing Adamawa central senatorial district, Aminu Iya Abbas has today Wednesday, accompanied Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to condoled with the family of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, who died Saturday in London at 82

Iya Abbas who in a statement through his media office in Yola, said the passing of former president Buhari is a great loss not only to his immediate and extended family, Katsina state, political associates but the country at large.

According to the statement, late Buhari was one of the few Nigerians privileged to lead and serve the country as Head of State and was elected two times as President from (2015 -2019) and (2019-2023)

The lawmaker said, late former president Muhammadu Buhari also served as Governor of North Eastern States, Chairman of the PTF alongside other sensitive national positions and performed excellently well.

While describing him as a disciplined leader, and a patriot whose legacy will remain deeply etched in the annals of our nation’s history, said he has demonstrated unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s unity, sovereignty, and fight against corruption.

On behalf of the people of Adamawa central, his family, friends, political associates, I extend heartfelt condolences to his family, the people of Katsina State and the entire nation. May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, reward his sacrifices, and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
