Senator Aminu Iya Abbas is set to launch the second phase of his free medical outreach programme in Adamawa Central Senatorial District, starting Saturday, February 7th, 2026.
The outreach, a collaborative effort with Iya Abbas Foundation and Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency, aims to provide quality healthcare services to residents of the district.
The programme will feature various medical services, including malaria testing, blood sugar checks, and hepatitis screening.
It will also offer eye tests, HIV screening, blood pressure checks, and typhoid testing, among others.
Free general surgeries will be performed for conditions like hernia, hydrocele, and appendix.
Other services include lipoma, goitre, fibroids, dental issues, ovarian cysts, breast lumps, and eye surgeries.
Yola North and Yola South Local Government Areas kick off the programme on February 7th at Specialist Hospital Yola and Nana Asma’u Dispensary.
The outreach will cover Song Local Government Area from February 12th to 14th at Dumne Cottage Hospital.
Hong Local Government Area will be covered from February 16th to 21st at UBA Primary Health Care Development Agency and FMC Hong.
The services are free; patients are advised to come out in their numbers, starting daily at 8:00 am.
