Chairman of the Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, has donated Multi Million Naira food items to victims of natural disasters and insurgency in Hong local government area.
Delivering the items at the palace of Tol Huba for onward distribution, the senator who was represented by a high powered delegation led by Hon. Job Gundiri, said, the food items would be distributed to the affected areas of Hong local government area.
Senator Abbas disclosed that he had already communicated to all relevant stakeholders to come to the aid of the victims of insurgency and natural disasters in Adamawa central and the state at large.
He commiserated with the victims as well as prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the incidents, expressing optimistic that the relevant agencies would take appropriate measures to provide relief materials to the victims as well as assist in their rehabilitation.

Responding, the Tol Huba His Royal Highness, Tol Alheri Bulus Nyako, expressed profound gratitude to Senator Abbas for his continued support to the people of his constituency assuring that the relief materials would be distributed equitably among the affected communities to bring much-needed relief and stability.
It could be recalled that recently senator Iya Abbas moved seperate Motions on the Floor of the Senate on the Menace of insurgency and other natural disasters in Adamawa, and a Resolution was unanimously passed requiring for comprehensive measures to be adopted to address the problems, once and for all.
Items donated, Includes; 300 Bags of Rice, 300 Bags of Maize, 300 cattons of spaghetti, 30 cattons of Maggi, 30 Bags of salt and 30 cattons of package tomatoes.
