The senator representing Adamawa central senatorial district, Aminu Iya Abbas, has commiserated with the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters Hon. Abdulrahman Bobboi over the death of his mother, Hajiya Fadimatu Abubakar (Hajja Salti).
In a condolence message through his media office and made available to newsmen in Yola, Friday. The Senator described Hajja Salti’s death as “a great loss not only to Abdulrahman Bobboi, but the State and Nigeria in general”.
He described the departed Fadimatu Abubakar as “a quintessential mother and community leader who devoted her lifetime to the service of God and humanity.’’
Abbas, paid glowing tributes to the deceased, saying she was a good mother, and urged the first family to take solace in the fact that the late matriarch lived to witness the enormous successes achieved by her son.
“On behalf of the people of Adamawa central senatorial district I commiserate with Abdulrahman Bobboi on the painful loss of his beloved mother,” he said.
He called on the bereaved family to uphold the cherished ideals of community service, kindness and generosity associated with the matriarch and prayed Almighty Allah to repose her soul, and give the family, the people Gombi local government and the State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
