The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Yola North, Yola South and Girei (Y2G) Federal Constituency, Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad, has inaugurated his Campaign Directors and Local Government Coordinators, formally setting the party’s campaign structure in motion ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, held at the campaign office in Yola, drew party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, women, and youths who gathered in large numbers to witness the unveiling of the campaign council.
Inaugurating the team, Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad charged members to remain loyal, disciplined, and committed to the ideals and manifesto of the All Progressives Congress (APC), urging them to work together in mobilizing massive grassroots support across the constituency.
He called on the council to ensure victory for the APC at every level of the 2027 elections, including the presidential election in support of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Adamawa State governorship election for Ahmed Galadima Aminu, the senatorial election for Comrade Mustapha Salihu, and the House of Representatives election in Yola North, Yola South and Girei Federal Constituency.
The APC candidate expressed confidence in the calibre and experience of the campaign council, describing its members as capable individuals with the capacity to drive an issue-based campaign and deliver victory for the party.
He also assured constituents of purposeful, inclusive, and effective representation if elected.
Earlier, the Director-General of the campaign council, Hon Adamu Ibrahim Wakili described the inauguration as the beginning of a coordinated effort to engage voters across the constituency.
He urged members to see their appointments as a call to service and to discharge their responsibilities with commitment, unity, and dedication.
Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated council, the Director of Planning and Strategy, Adamu Baba Mustafa, thanked Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad for the confidence reposed in them and pledged the council’s unwavering commitment to delivering victory for the APC through sustained grassroots mobilization.
