Lamido Adamawa Appoints Ibrahim Tukur as New Lamdo Mandara Adamawa

The Lamido of Adamawa and Chairman Adamawa state Council of Emirs and Chiefs, His Royal Highness Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu, has appointed a retired Nigeria Customs Officer, Alhaji Ibrahim Tukur Salman, as Lamdo Mandara Adamawa.

This is contained in an appointment letter presented to him (the New Lamdo Mandara Adamawa) by Acting Secretary to Adamawa Emirate Council, Alhaji Kabiru Bakari, (Tariya Adamawa).

The appointment letter with Emirate Council referenced “AEC/S.467/Vol.III/429 dated February 13th, 2024.

The appointment letter further said the appointment is effective from February, 13, 2024.
