The New Galadima Gurin Alhaji Mohammed Hammawa has been turbaned.
Performing the turbaning ceremony at his Palace Saturday, the District Head of Gurin Alhaji Abubakar Babagurin Abbi said the turbaning of Alhaji Hammawa followed approval of Lamido Adamawa Alhaji Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa.
He said the title of Galadima is a serious title as it has history in the Fombina Emirate and urged the new Galadima to justify the confidence repose in him.
Alhaji Babagurin Abbo who noted that the Calibre of people who attending the turbaning ceremony demonstrated the Quality leadership skills of Alhaji Mohammed Hammawa, appealed to him to work towards the success of Gurin District and Adamawa Emirate at large.
The District Head called on Gurin Residents to live in peace with one another and Support Government at all levels for peace and tranquility in the state.
He told the gathering that Lamido Adamawa has been admonishing Parents to educate their children to enable them grow up responsible citizens.
Responding after his turbaning, the new Galadima Gurin Alhaji Mohammed Hammawa thanked District Head of Gurin and Fombina Emirate for finding him worthy of the title and pledged to Justify the confidence repose in him by the district and Fombina Emirate.
Born in 1966 at Muninga Gurin District, Alhaji Mohammed Hammawa has held many positions which earn him respect globally.
Apart from founding and running of his business and firms, Alhaji Mohammed Hammawa is the Group General Manager GGM of Maidugu Guest Palace Limited among others.
