The Member Representing Shelleng Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly Hon. Kantomon Bulus Napthali, has described the victory of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the People’s Democratic Party PDP at the Supreme Court Wednesday as well-deserved for democracy and the good people of Adamawa State.
Kantomon In a congratulatory statement on behalf of his family and the good people of his Constituency issued through his Media Office in Shelleng said the Supreme Court verdict confirms the yearnings of the people of Adamawa State.
According to the statement the Lawmaker who is the Chairman House Standing Committee on Public Service, Public Petition and Electoral Matters, said the resounding victory of Fintiri has refreshed all and sundry in the state.
Kantomon added that the outcome would enhance a better governed Adamawa State that everyone will be proud of.
The lawmaker said the victory is for the people of Adamawa State who are yearning for good governance which the government of PDP is pursuing and urged the APC and its flag bearer to accept the ruling in good faith and support the government of Umaru Fintiri said the interest of the state should be paramount in the heart of all.
He also appeal to Governor Fintiri to see himself as a man of destiny and he should always remember that God gives power to whoever he wishes and he should remain focus and deliver the dividend of democracy to the people of Adamawa State.
While reaffirming his loyalty to the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in the State the Lawmaker charged members of APC and other political parties to join hands with the government of Ahmadu Fintiri for the betterment of generality of Adamawa people as power belongs to God.
