Adamawa reiterates commitment towards revamping transport sector

Adamawa State Commissioner for Transport Development Alhaji Musa Mahmud Kallamu has expressed commitment towards improving transport sector in the state.

He stated this when he assumed office as commissioner in the ministry on Monday.

The Commissioner was warmly received by Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Engineer Muhammad Hamman, Staff and Officers of Vehicles Inspection Officers VIO at the Ministry’s headquarters in Yola.

Alhaji Kallamu promised to ensure success and progress of transport sector so as to meet the changing mantra of Fintiri administration in second term two point zero next level.

He reiterated readiness of present administration towards revamping transport system in the state so as to alleviate suffering of Adamawa People.

While appreciating staff of the ministry for their solidarity and warm reception accorded him, the commissioner solicited their support and cooperation to enable him move the ministry to greater height.

Earlier, after a Parade by officers of VIO to give him arousing welcome at the ministry, the Director Road Traffic Administration of VIO, Abdullahi Nyibangs Mahdi assured their total support to the new commissioner for progress and development in the state.

The commissioner was accompanied to the office by his Wife, Hajiya Saadatu as well as friends and well wishers.
