The Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Aminu Iya Abbas (IYA ADAMAWA) has joined well meaning Adamawa people and well wishers by felicitating with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on his well-deserved award as “Africa Man of the Year” by Future Women Conference.
Iya Abbas, who doubles as Chairman Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology in a Congratulatory message through his Media Office in Yola, described the award from a well recognized group of women as timely.
According to the statement, the prestigious recognition is a testament to the Governor’s tireless efforts and commitment to promoting gender equality and empowerment in Adamawa State.
He further stated that, the Fintiri’s leadership has brought about unprecedented opportunities and representation for women in the state, and the people of Adamawa are proud to have him as the Governor of the State
The Senator said, the award will also serves as motivation to the Governor, to continue delivering quality leadership for the overall development of Adamawa State and the Country as a whole.
