The Former Minority Leader Adamawa State House of Assembly Hon. Muhammad Mutawalli has congratulated the people of Adamawa State on the occasion of 2024 Eid-el-Fitr sallah celebration.
Mutawalli In his Sallah message made available to newsmen in Yola, admonished People of the state to continue exhibiting the habits of tolerance,forgiveness, assisting the needy and maintain peaceful coexistence even after the holy month of Ramadan.
Mutawalli who represent Girei Constituency from (2015-2019) and (2019-2023) also congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and members of the State Executive Council and the Speaker of the House Rt.Hon. Bathiya Wesley.
He also felicitates with His Royal Highness the Lamido Adamawa Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, leadership of All Progressives Congress APC and other teeming supporters on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr Sallah Celebration.
He also called on Muslim faithfuls to use the virtues learned from spiritual month of Ramadan to the larger society so as to promote religious tolerance, understanding and charity for the less privilege in the society.
According to him, Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance, kindness to humanity and mutual respect amongst members of every community and enjoined faithful to live in peace with one another irrespective of religious or ethnic differences
“I bring to Muslims warm greetings at this season of Eid-el-Fitr. It is a season of remembrance of the good things that the Almighty Allah has done in our lives
I enjoin every Muslim to be of good character and remain the best of examples, taking after the Holy Prophet (SAW).” He said
