Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has approved the immediate dissolution of all 50 Development Area Administrators across the state.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the governor directed the outgoing administrators to hand over all official documents, property, and responsibilities to the most senior staff members in their respective areas.
Governor Fintiri expressed deep appreciation to the outgoing administrators for their service, acknowledging their efforts in advancing grassroots development.
“I commend the Development Area Administrators for their tireless efforts in stimulating development at the grassroots level. Their support has been instrumental in achieving successes in our state,” the governor said. “I wish them well in their future endeavors and assure the people of Adamawa State that we will continue to prioritize their welfare and development.”
The statement further noted that the Governor’s Office would provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition, with senior staff members taking charge to maintain the continuity of government programs and activities.
