Adamawa Central: Senator Aminu Iya Abbas Joins Colleagues in London to Advance Legislative Leadership and Best Practices

The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Innovation, Science and Technology, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, has joined his colleagues from Adamawa South and Adamawa North, alongside other senators from various senatorial districts across the Senate, at an ongoing specialised training programme at the Institute of Directors in London, United Kingdom.

In a statement issued by his Media office, Senator Abbas’s participation, along with that of his distinguished colleagues, further reflects his approach to legislative responsibility, combining representation with continuous learning and exposure to global best practices.

According to the statement: “The training provides an opportunity for lawmakers to deepen their understanding of international best practices and the enormous economic opportunities embedded in Nigeria economic sector.

“For the distinguished lawmaker representing Adamawa Central, leadership is not merely about occupying a legislative seat; it is about acquiring the knowledge, networks and perspectives required to make that seat count for the people.”
